Christopher Troutman: Shifting Perspectives and Sensitive Observations
Monday, September 27- November 6, 2010
Reception: Thursday, September 30, 6-8 p.m.; Gallery Talk at 7 p.m. by the artist, Music by the Parkland Guitar Ensemble

Christopher J. Troutman is a painter whose work focuses on the human figure in urban environments viewed from extreme angles and unusual points of view. His recent drawings and paintings concentrate on the remembrance of direct observation as a vehicle for exploring the relationship between memory and pictorial expression. Constantly revising and changing compositions in mid-process, Troutman focuses on the unique gestures of human figures and amplifies the urban settings.
