Writing Lab Hours

Writing Lab Hours for the Semester:  The Writing Lab (in D120) is a free drop-in service for students, staff, and faculty at Parkland.  In the Writing Lab, English faculty help you with all kinds of writing tasks: understanding assignments, brainstorming for ideas, outlining information, creating drafts, developing proofreading skills, and documenting sources.   They have computers you can use to revise your work and lots of free handouts and magazines if you're interested. Everyone is welcome.  This semester, the Writing Lab's hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. 

20% art supply discount at the Art Coop!

Monday through Wednesday of this week the Art Coop is offering a 20% discount on art supplies.  The  discount is good on all our regularly priced merchandise, and cannot be
used on  kits, photo products, or sale items.

2011 Illinois Community College Juried Exhibition:
$300 Juror's choice award and seven merit awards of $100 each.
